ABOUT CRISKITS

Growing independence starts with small things.

Helping families spend less time administering household life and more time getting on with it.

Why we started with chores and pocket money

Growing up is a gradual transition. Young people naturally want more autonomy, their own money, and a say in how things work. Parents want to encourage responsibility, but without having to repeat instructions five times an evening.

Too many family tools try to turn the household into a corporate office with Gantt charts, or treat teenagers like toddlers with cartoon sticker books and confetti explosions. Neither works in a real home.

Families need tools that clarify expectations calmly. When kids know what is theirs to do, when parents have an easy way to give feedback, and when pocket money is transparently linked to effort, household tension drops and everyone knows where they stand.

The bigger picture

Chores and pocket money are where we start because they cause so many daily repeated reminders. But our longer-term purpose is broader: helping families cut through everyday family admin — so there is less faff, fewer repeated reminders, and more actual family time.

More Family, Less Faff.

More Family, Less Faff

Chores and pocket money, without the chasing.
